The other night, Amber went into Aliece and Alayna's room after bedtime. She found Alayna, standing in her window sill of her second story bedroom. The window was wide open and she was leaning against the screen to get a better view of the neighborhood. Had the screen popped out of the window, Alayna most certainly would have tumbled the two stories only to land on our cement patio.
I couldn't sleep with visions of seeing Alayna falling through that window. The very next day I looked for a window lock and installed it on their bedroom window so that it will only open up a few inches.
Man! The things kids think up that adults are oblivious to!
