In reference to the branding video, this is why we still have the cows. Every year I begin to wonder if we should sell them but days like Saturday make it all worth the work and frustrations.

I've got a perfect idea regarding the cows...
Every spring as school ends we'll just buy a bunch of calves. We'll hold the annual branding party with the family. Then, since school is ending, when we all go home, we just leave our kids at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
The grandkids raise the calves - and they sell them in the fall just before school. We come out to Arbon, load the calves into a trailer and send them to the sale and load the kids up in the Minivans and send them to school.
We get branding, Dad gets cow-free winters, the kids learn work ethic as they care for the cows all summer, and we don't have kids following us around all summer saying, "I'm bored, there's nothing to do around here!"
All joking aside, Dad, you and Mom do a great job "hosting" the event. It was fun when you had all the little kids go and move the calves over to the other holding pin just before branding.
