Making a difference with indexing

Today, during church, I had to grab a chalkboard from the high priest priesthood room. I was sneaking into the room so as not to cause a disturbance during their meeting. As I was getting the chalkboard, I overheard the high priest group leader talking to the group about some of their statistics in comparison with the stake.

He said, "I don't know how it happened, but our ward led the entire stake in performing indexing this past month. this was a total surprise to us for we Have never even been close in those statistics before. We were also surprised by this because the stake leaders have not yet provided training to our ward." He then proceeded to tell the high priests good job for the work that had been done this month with indexing.

I smiled to myself and kept my mouth shut. I believe the reason for our ward taking the lead in this is because Amber, Aylee, and John started indexing this past December. Amber got the kids all excited about it and they have been doing a lot of indexing on the side. John has been talking to some of his friends and has even got them indexing as well. I don't think it was a coincidence that our ward just happened to become the leader in indexing for the stake this past month :-)
