Halloween is over and the ghosts and goblins have all gone home. However, this halloween seems to have left its mark on our family. Ever since we had the trick or treating activites and mounds of candy lying around the house, a MONSTER has been born. Little Alayna is seldom sweet anymore. She has discovered that she LOVES candy. She is hooked, folks. She stands by the refrigerator and yells and complains in the only way a nearly 15-month old can. We try to give her her drink from the fridge, only to find that she discards it in disgust. The cheese we give her gets tossed over the shoulder -- and still she stands there screaming. The only thing that calms our little monster down is to get the little candy basket from the top of the fridge and stick a sucker into her mouth.

This really is starting to remind me of another little candy snarf - Joseph Christian Andersen!
