Today I was cleaning the kitchen and Alayna came walking by a previously opened bag of marshmallows. Amber had let her have some as a treat a few hours earlier and we hadn't put them away.
I asked Alayna not to eat them and to put the bag away.
In a big grown up voice, she said, "Yes, Dad, we can't eat the marshmellows. Too many of them will make us sick!"
I agreed with a, "you are right" comment which then kept her going.
She continued as she carried the bag to the pantry, "Yes, if we eat too many, we will get sick, and Die!"
