We celebrated Chloe's 3rd birthday on the 23rd of January. I can't believe our little girl is 3 already! She has sure been excited about turning 3 and has been so excited! We made a birthday chain the week leading up to her birthday to help her realize how many days it was until the big day. She loved the chain and really got into it. She is still talking about her birthday and tells everyone we see that she just had a birthday "yesterday" and now she is 3 years old. Everything is "yesterday" to her. Mom and Dad were going to come celebrate with us but the weather was pretty yucky so they didn't end up coming. We had a fun day. We let her open a present in the morning and she played with it while Dave decorated her birthday cake. He made a castle with a toy pony any a couple other things on it. It was pretty creative and she loved it. Then we went to a movie, and to the mall to play on their playground. She played there for about an hour. Then we walked over to Barnes and Noble and they have a fun children's area with a train table to play with and books etc. She played there for another hour. Then we went to get pizza and came home for cake and ice cream. She really enjoyed her birthday and we had a fun day together.
