As you all know, our family has been working hard to cut down costs while still maintaining the same level of quality family time together. In fact, Amber and Aylee entertained themselves for about a half an hour with just a simple mason jar, a few blades of grass, and a handful of ladybugs. A couple of the ladybugs apparently were unaware that their grassy environment lacked any of their typical privacy. Amber provided a narrative and Aylee added insightful comments as they watched the 30 minute mating ritual of two ladybugs who seem to be having a great time together.
All of this entertainment and we didn't even have to order the nature channel!
