Ashlee and Brett posted some pictures on the Reed Family blog of their nine-month old daughter, Elyvia (my only Niece [hint, hint]).

Elyvia swallowed a tiny pair of fingernail clippers this week. These are pictures inside her little tummy. Yikes! The emergency room didn't believe them when they took her in. They didn't see it happen, but they heard her scream and it looked like she was having a hard time swallowing something. They had just trimmed her nails and couldn't find the clippers anywhere. They finally had the emergency room just trust them and take the pictures. Sure enough! But they had to then go to a neighbhoring town's emergency room that had a doctor there that could remove the clippers endoscopically.
How do our kids ever live to become adults?
