Last Saturday Amber, Jen and I took the kids on a hike up Y mountain here in Provo. It was a beautiful day. The mountain was a lush green, yet the path was dry. The kids all hiked on their own except for Alayna who rode on my back. Johnathan and Aylee raced up the hill and acted like this 50 minute uphill trip was only trivial. Even Aliece did pretty good, getting up to the bottom of the Y by herself. I wanted to go to the top of the Y so I picked up Aliece and carried her the rest of the way. Once up at the top we enjoyed a quick snack and made phone calls to grandparents to tell of our triumph. It was a fun little 2 hour excursion!
